- The teams started out doubles by splitting no. 2 and no. 3 singles. Ashley Samula took a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Lindwall in slot two, but Murphy replied with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Mallory Moen in slot two.

- Coopmans bounced back with a 6-4, 2-6, 6-1 in fifth billing over Mia Andrae, while Christina Ekkela continued her strong play in no. 6 singles with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-0 win over Peyton Morgan to put the Eagles one point away from a victory at 4-3.
