RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University scored two times in the first eight minutes to take down the Edgewood College women's soccer team 4-0, in a Saturday afternoon NACC battle. The Eagles struggled to get anything going offensively in a tough battle with the top team in the NACC.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood College (11-4-1, 7-3-1 NACC) couldn't slow down the Stars in the early goings. Sophia Bartridge and Regan Coxon of Dominican (12-3-2, 10-1-0 NACC) provided the first two goals, the first in the fifth minute and the second in the ninth. Grace Larson and Coxon assisted in the opening goal, while Natalia Lopez added the helper in the second goal.
- Katie Norlie gave Dominican a 3-0 lead going into halftime. Edgewood College was outshot 6-2 through the first 45 minutes of play. Coxon added her second goal of the match in the 75th minute, for the 4-0 final.
- Leah Doucette, Marley Satran, Elise Gillen, Siobhan Gallagher, and Mandy Fitzgerald each added a shot in the contest.
- Hailey Corcoran recorded a career-best nine saves in goal for Edgewood College.

- Edgewood College will host Marian University for Senior Night and the regular season finale on Wednesday. Action is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from Edgewood College Field at Reddan Park.
