MEQUON, Wis. – The Edgewood College Women's Soccer team made its first NACC Tournament appearance since the 2016 season on Wednesday, playing at Concordia University Wisconsin. The Eagles, the third seed in the NACC North Tournament, couldn't slow down the second-seeded Falcons offense, falling 10-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin (8-2-0) scored four times before halftime and added six goals after the break with Selena Esten and Isabel Downs finishing the day with hat tricks. The Falcons outshot the Eagles 36-3 on Wednesday.
- The Eagles (5-4) received a second-half score off the foot of
Leah Doucette in the 83rd minute. The goal was the third of Doucette's strong rookie season with Edgewood College.

Grace Wildeboer finished the game with 10 saves for Edgewood College.
THE OPPOSITION
- In addition to Esten's and Downs' hat tricks, CUW received goals from Karoline Haugland, Allison McElwee, Grace Wilshire, and Madelaine Specht.
SEASON RECAP
- It was a solid year for the Eagles, who finished with an above .500 record for the first time since 2016.
- Edgewood College posted a 5-4 overall record and will look to build off of that in the fall with several players from the '2020' team returning.
