CHICAGO, Wis. – Illinois Tech University scored five goals, to down the Edgewood College Men's Soccer team Saturday afternoon in NACC action. Jack Gentner was busy in goal for the Eagles, making 10 saves in the contest.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Scarlet Hawks did most of their damage in the second half. Scoring two goals in the first period and three after the break. Illinois Tech scored their first goal early, with their second coming just 45 seconds before halftime. Ryan Fagan scored in the 9th minute, while Mateo Sanchez gave the Scarlet Hawks a 2-0 lead going into halftime.
- Michael Kaczowka would add three goals in the second half.
- Gentner finished with 10 saves for the Eagles. Jonathan Alfaro, Thomas Dews, and Sal Genco each took a shot for Edgewood College.
