CHICAGO – The Edgewood College Women's Soccer team dropped a 4-1 contest at Illinois Tech Saturday afternoon. The loss drops the Eagles (2-7-1) to 0-2-0 in NACC play.
ILLINOIS TECH, EDGEWOOD COLLEGE 1
- The Eagles goal came in the 89th minute on the first goal of the season for
Carolyn Evers. Her score was unassisted and came with 1:54 remaining in the match.
- Illinois Tech scored twice in the first half and then twice more in the final 10 minutes in building a 4-0 lead. Jamie Griggs tallied two goals for the Scarlet Hawks, including the game-winner in the 82nd minute.
- Edgewood College was outshot, 37-5, on Saturday evening.
Grace Wildeboer made 12 saves for the Eagles. Catherine Klemp made two saves for Illinois Tech.
