GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Edgewood College Men's Tennis team nearly pulled out a victory against non-conference opponent St. Norbert College, but ended the day with three singles victories and one doubles victory. The Eagles dropped the match 5-4 to the Green Knights.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After coming away with four victories, the Eagles dropped three of five matches to the Green Knights via default.
- Marius Dornhagen Schradermeier and Sebastion Seeeger went to 2-0 against the Green Knights after capturing a decisive 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles. Dornhagen Schradermeier was strong in the No. 1 singles position, getting his second victory of the night in 6-4, 6-0 fashion.
- Senior Seeger made a strong comeback at the No. 2 singles slot, eventually beating St. Norbert's Matt LaViolett (4-6, 6-1, 6-3)
- Edgewoode College got their final victory of the night at the No. 3 singles slot, as Jackson Venske posted a (2-6, 6-2, 10-8) victory in tiebreaker fashion over the Green Knights.

- The Eagles will have a quick turnaround, as they head to White Bear Lake, Minn. on Saturday to take on University of Northwestern. Action begins at 3:00 p.m.
