MADISON, Wis. – The Edgewood College men's tennis team earned a pair of Northern Athletics Conference victories to push their dual match winning streak to a modest three matches. The Eagles first topped Rockford College 9-0 in the first match of the day before beating Aurora University 8-1 on a sunny afternoon in Madison.
Against Rockford (0-4, 0-2 NAC), the Eagles set the tone early as they only dropped four sets in doubles play.

Cody Strebig topped Mlade Ubiparipovich and Matt Zawadzki 8-1 at No. 2 doubles while
Clint Reed and
Vince Jankiewicz won their No. 3 doubles match by the same margin.
Strebig was just as dominant in singles as he beat Adam Jonston 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. At No. 4 singles,
Tim Morgan topped Stephen Kadamian 6-0, 6-1 and Reed bested Zawadzki 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.
The Eagles (4-13, 3-1 NAC) started out strong again in the afternoon against Aurora (1-5, 1-1 NAC) as they took all three doubles matches. Divelbiss and Strebig beat Clay Trautman and Juan Padilla 8-1 at No. 2 doubles.
In No. 1 singles, John D'Orazio defeated Dan Micun 6-0, 6-0 to set the tone for singles play. Stebig was victorious in the marathon match of the day as he won his No. 3 singles match over Brett Wilder 6-7 (7-9), 6-3, 10-5. Morgan won easily again at No. 4 singles as he topped Michael Hohm 6-0, 6-1.
The Eagles will take to the road on Wednesday as they play Marian University at 3:00 p.m.
