MADISON, Wis. - Finally, the one-goal games seem to going Edgewood College's way. After losing their first seven one-goal games this season, the Eagle men's soccer team has now won two in a row after a 3-2 double overtime victory over St. Norbert College.
Paul Domann's game-winner extended the Eagles' winning streak to three matches overall.
St. Norbert College had the majority of the good scoring opportunities in the second half and overtime, but Edgewood College made their shot count. The Green Knights took a goal kick in the 106th minute, that
Andrew Aurit intercepted about 35 yards out from the net. Aurit's trap went to Dezell who touched the ball into the middle of the field. Rather than shoot, Dezell slid the ball to a streaking Domann on the short left side of the penalty area. Domann rifled a shot past St. Norbert goalkeeper Erik Tauschek to give the Eagles the victory on Senior Day.

Zach Miller took a free kick from the midfield stripe. His long pass arced toward the far post, where a Green Knight defender tried to head it away. Instead, the header found the back of the net.
About six minutes later, the Eagles struck again.
Taylor Stofflet got his head on another free kick and brought it down to the front of the net. Senior
Andy Witek was waiting and drilled home a waist-high side volley from inside the goal box. It was Witek's first goal since the 2008 season.
Two goals might have been enough if it hadn't been for St. Norbert's Eric Natwick#. Natwick blasted home a free kick from 25 yards out to cut the Eagles' lead in half in the 59th minute. In the 78th minute, Natwick struck again, this time with a shot from the far left corner of the box that nestled into the far side netting to even the game and ultimately send it to overtime.

Kyle Koenig earned the victory, making eight saves, which all came after halftime. St. Norbert College (4-9) outshot Edgewood College on the day 21-12.
Edgewood College will stay at home for their next match, hosting Lakeland College on Tuesday night at Breese Stevens Field.
