MILWAUKEE, Wis. (September 22, 2007) -- The Edgewood College volleyball team extended their current winning streak to four matches after completing a flawless sweep over Finlandia and Mount Mary College Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles (4-8, 1-2 NAC) needed only three games in both matches to claim victories as Greta Gueths (Shawano, Wis.) led the way against Finlandia with nine kills as Hannah Williams (Richland Center, Wis.) and Laura Thorson (Eau Claire, Wis.) combined for 26 assists. In the second game of the evening, Kim Paskey (Poynette, Wis.) led the charge with 10 kills and four digs as the Eagles rolled over Mount Mary College.

The Eagles now take the momentum into a week with a heavy conference schedule as they compete against Concordia (Wis.), Benedictine, and Aurora. The Eagles begin their week at home against the Falcons on Sept. 25th at 7:00 p.m. at the Todd Wehr Edgedome.
