RIVER FOREST, Wis. (Sept. 22, 2007) – Off to its best start since the 1998 season, Edgewood College (7-1, 4-0 NAC) won its fourth straight match Saturday to remain undefeated in the Northern Athletics Conference with a 10-0 win at Concordia University Chicago. The Eagles have now outscored their NAC opponents 24-1 in their four league games.

Elyse Clouthier (Oconomowoc, Wis.),
Amanda Rhyner (Delavan, Wis.),
Erika Thompson (Waukesha, Wis.), and
Tara Miller (Seattle, Wash.) -- scored twice in Saturday’s match. Rhyner added two assists, while
Kara Peppler (Madison, Wis.) and
Megan Gaber (Lake Mills, Wis.) also found the back of the Cougars’ net.
The Eagles tallied six goals in the first half en route to their third consecutive shutout, this one a combined effort between
Ilana Bar-av (Madison, Wis.) and
Brittany Labno (Madison, Wis.).
Edgewood College will travel out of conference Wednesday, Sept. 26 for a non-league game at Beloit College.
