WHITEWATER, Wis. (Oct. 27, 2007) – UW-Platteville beat Edgewood College 3-0 (30-17, 30-12, 30-25) as the Eagles fell to 0-4 overall in the two day UW-Whitewater Invitational, Saturday in Whitewater, Wis. The Pioneers are currently ranked #6 in the Midwest Region by the NCAA.

It was a tough two days for the Eagles, as three of the four opponents were nationally or regionally ranked. The loss drops Edgewood College to 9-21 overall. The Eagles next match is on Tuesday November 30, as they travel to Sheboygan, Wis. to take on #1 seed Lakeland College in the first round of the NAC tournament.
