MADISON, Wis. (September 8, 2006) -- A birdie on the par-3 hole 17 helped Edgewood College senior Nicole Gluzinski (Lindenhurst, Ill.) take a two-stroke lead Friday into tomorrow's final round of the Edgewood College Fall Invitational at Yahara Hills Golf Course.

Gluzinski carded an 88 followed by Abbey Lecy of Wisconsin Lutheran College, who posted back-to-back scores of 45 on both the front and back nine. The Eagles' Kaitlyn Herzog (Waukesha, Wis.) currently sits in third place with a 91.

The tournament will resume at approximately 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
