PORT WASHINGTON, Wis. (September 20, 2006) – Edgewood College senior Nicole Gluzinski (Lindenhurst, Ill.) continued her dominance in Northern Athletics Conference women’s golf by winning the Concordia Cup on Wednesday. Gluzinski, who was named NAC Student-Athlete of the Week for the second time this season earlier this week, proved why she was worthy of the honor by capturing her third tournament title of 2006 at Squires Country Club.

Five strokes separated Gluzinski (91) from runner-up Jennifer Knox (96) of host school Concordia University – Wisconsin. Gluzinski was the only participant from Edgewood College; therefore the Eagles did not tally a team score. The team tournament champion was Marian College (537) which was one stroke better than Lakeland College (538).

Edgewood College will have just one day’s rest before returning to competition at the often-competitive Carthage College Invitational on Friday, Sept. 22.
