NEW BERLIN, Wis. (September 13, 2006) -- Edgewood College sent women's golfers Nicole Gluzinski (Lindenhurst, Ill.) and Kaitlyn Herzog (Waukesha, Wis.) to the Wisconsin Lutheran College Invitational on Wednesday and the duo returned with first and second place individual efforts, respectively.

Gluzinski, who finished first overall, shot a 47 in the first round, but then stepped up her game as she ensured first place with a second round low score of 43 to finish with a 90 at the New Berlin Hills Golf Course.

Herzog, who finished just behind Gluzinski, shot a opening round best 45 and then followed up with a 49 to give her a score of 94 on the day.

The Eagles next compeition will be at the Concordia Cup in Port Washington, Wis. on Sept. 20, 2006 at the Squires Country Club.
