MADISON, Wis. (November 21, 2006) -- The UW-Oshkosh Titans were too much for the Edgewood College Eagles Tuesday night in a non-conference 82-56 loss at the Todd Wehr Edgedome.

The Titans (1-0) shot 57.7-percent from the field as they held the Eagles (1-1) to 19-of-50 (38-percent) shooting on the night. The Titan tandem of Jim Capelle and seven footer Kerry Gibson were too much for the Eagles as they made a combined 14-of-19 shots to total 36 points. Chris DeMarco (Appleton, Wis.) did all he could to keep the Eagles in the game as he totalled a game-high 20 points on 7-of-17 shooting from the field. Charlie Averkamp (New Berlin, Wis.) nearly missed a double-double as he added nine points and grabbed nine rebounds in the losing effort.
