MADISON, Wis. (Sept. 22, 2005)-  The Edgewood College volleyball team played host to Beloit College in a non-conference match at the Todd Wehr Edgedome on Thursday night.  The Eagles were defeated three games to one. 

The Buccaneers (7-4) took the first two games 30-17 and 30-23, the Eagles (1-12) took game three with a 30-23 decision, but Beloit closed the match out 30-24 in game four.  Dayna McCauley (Cuba City, Wis.) led the Eagles with 30 assists and Amber Hewitt (Waunakee, Wis.) added 12 digs.

The Eagles will play host to nationally ranked UW-Platteville on Friday at the Todd Wehr Edgedome.  The game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
