Wisconsin Lutheran would answer in the bottom half of the inning as they scored two runs off of Edgewood starting pitcher Dave Scheidell. (Milton, Wis). Halliburton would not give up another run as he went six innings, giving up five hits, and no earned runs to pick up the win.
The Eagle offense came back to life in the fourth inning, scoring four runs and never looked back as the game was called in the seventh inning due to the ten-run rule.
