COLUMBUS, Ind. – Edgewood College sophomore Mike Brennan (Prairie du Sac, Wis.) shot a one- under-par 71, tying a school record for lowest round, on Saturday, Mar. 26 at the Otter Creek Golf Club. Brennan, along with teammates Bob Stilling (Lake Mills, Wis.), Mike Oyler (Madison, Wis.), and Luke Hallett (Barneveld, Wis.) were playing unattached at the NCAA Division II meet hosted by UW-Parkside.
Brennan’s score would have placed him second individually, behind Bellarmine University’s Nathan Knight, who posted a two-under-par 70. As a team, the Eagles shot 334. Stilling shot an 82, followed by Oyler and Hallett who shot 90 and 91, respectively.
Edgewood is tentatively scheduled to appear next at the Augustana College Invitational in Rock Island, Ill., in a two-day tournament beginning on Friday, April 8.
