MADISON, Wis. (Oct. 4, 2005)-- The Edgewood College volleyball team defeated Concordia University in front of a packed Todd Wehr Edgedome Tuesday night 3-0. The Eagles (3-17, 3-10 LMC) swept the Falcons (11-7, 8-4 LMC) 30-26, 30-28, and 30-23.
The Eagles were led by freshman Dayna McCauley (Cuba City, Wis.) with 45 assists. Amber Hewitt, (Waunakee, Wis.) and Kim Paskey (Poynette, Wis.) chipped in with 12 and 11 kills respectively. Inthava Borihane (Green Bay, Wis.) paced the Eagles with 13 digs.
The Eagles next game will be at home this Friday, October 7 in an exhibition match against the past players of Edgewood College. That game is set for 6:30 p.m.
