Freshman Piper Atnip (Mount Horeb, Wis.) was instrumental in Edgewood College’s first-place finish at the Beloit Early Bird Invite last Tuesday, leading all Eagle runners with a time of 21:19.3 in a 5k race. The time was good for a fourth-place finish out of 40 runners.
