Ryan Berger (Olathe, Kan./Saint Thomas Aquinas) narrowly missed his first victory of the season in the 400 meter dash, placing second with a time of 52.51 and just 18 hundredths of a second behind Damon Morris of Truman State at the Knox College Invitational last Saturday. Berger ran the second leg of the 1600 sprint medley relay as Edgewood College took first place by more than seven seconds. He also finished fifth in the 200 meter dash (23.84) and garnered team points in all three of his events, helping Edgewood College to a fifth place team finish.
