Andy Swanson had a career-high 12 strikeouts in a 5-2 win over Rockford last Wednesday and scattered seven hits over eight innings of work. He allowed just two runs—one earned—to secure his first win of the season. He only had a combined five strikeouts in his other two outings this season. His previous career-high for strikeouts was seven.
