The Eagles went 1-1 last week with a win over Lawrence University and Mike Wanta was at the top of his game in both contests. He fell twice in a 9-0 loss to UW-Eau Claire but bounced back with a pair of commanding victories against the Vikings. He won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 4 singles and teamed with Brian Davenport to win 8-5 at No. 2 doubles. It was Wanta’s first shot at No. 4 singles all season and is now 5-13 overall on the year.
