Austin Papenthien went 2-1 in both singles and doubles competition last week as part of the Eagles’ spring trip. After a 6-2, 6-0 loss at No. 1 singles and an 8-2 loss at No. 1 doubles on Monday against Allegheny College, the junior heated up and went undefeated the rest of the trip. He was one of three Eagles to win in singles competition in a 5-4 loss to Greenville College and also won at doubles 8-3. He was dominant against FDU-Florham by winning 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles and 8-1 at No. 1 doubles.
