Freshman Desirae Diener soared to the top of Edgewood College’s record books Saturday in her collegiate debut at the Illinois Wesleyan Titan First Chance Meet. Diener, a native of Fond du Lac, Wis., broke the Eagles’ indoor school record in the 60 hurdles by posting a mark of 10.11 in the prelims before placing eighth in the finals with a time of 10.49. The previous school record was 10.49. She also ran in the 60 meters and clocked in at 8.51, which is now tied for the seventh-best mark in school history.
