Michael Mathwick, a senior from Greenfield, Wis., battled through tough conditions at Trappers Turn Golf Club as part of the Midwest Region Classic to finish seventh overall in a massive field that included 140 golfers. Mathwick shot a 77 (+5) on the first day before carding a one-over-par 73 on Tuesday to finish with a 36-hole total of 150 (+6). His effort also helped the Eagles finish fifth out of 28 teams.
