Racing in his second regulation distance meet of his cross country career, sophomore Hunter Salmon improved on his previous time by nearly two minutes. Salmon, a sophomore from Janesville, Wis., finished 308th in a 375-runner field with a time of 29 minutes, 14.20 seconds at the NCAA Division III Pre-Nationals in Mason, Ohio on Saturday. It was a drastic improvement from his time of 31:01 at the UW-Whitewater Invitational two weekends ago.
