Anna Miles was the lone Edgewood College women’s tennis player to emerge victorious in multiple matches this past weekend at the USTA/ITA Regionals. The junior from Racine, Wis., dropped her first match of the event by falling to Joyce Yu of Carleton College by scores of 6-0, 6-0 before winning her next two matches. In the consolation round of 64, Miles took down Grinnell College’s Hannah Cook 6-2, 5-7, 10-7. She came out on top of another thrilling match in the round of 32 as well, beating Carleton College’s Caitlin Eichten by scores of 1-6, 6-3, 10-5.
