Mykenzy Palmer had an impressive week and is a big reason why Edgewood College sits tied for first in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. The Cottage Grove, Wis., native went 3-0 in singles competition this week and started off by beating MSOE’s Melanie Avery by scores of 6-0, 6-0. In the Eagles home opener Saturday, the junior took down Aurora’s Jamie Huff 6-1, 6-0 and closed out her week with a thrilling, 6-3, 1-6, 10-4 win over Benedictine’s Feena Chirayath. Palmer also went undefeated in doubles play this week with teammate Sabrina Fuller.
