Smith participated in three events at the Wisconsin Private College Championships and brought home two titles and earned 23 points for the Eagles. Smith cruised to a 100 meter dash win in 11.31 seconds and then helped the 4x100 meter relay team to a new school record and first place finish of 43.51 seconds. In the long jump, Smith recorded his second best career jump of 6.16 meters to place seventh of 23.
