Megan Scheele (New Glarus, Wis.) led the Eagles to their seventh win in eight tries with a 28-point effort in a 72-66 victory over reigning NAC Champions Wisconsin Lutheran on Saturday. The Monday previous, the senior recorded 25 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Eagle women to the 2009 Great Bahamas Goombay Shootout title and earned tournament MVP honors in the process. She sits just 45 points shy of the Edgewood College all-time scoring record of 1,854 points which was set in 1991. The senior is averaging 22.2 points and 8.8 rebounds per game this season.
