Jon Ciche (Franklin, Wis.) averaged 8.5 points, 11.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks in leading the Eagles to a 1-1 record and a consolation championship win over the College of New Jersey at the 2009 Woodrow S.W. Sponaugle New Year’s Tournament in Lancaster, Pa. over the weekend. Ciche recorded three blocks in the team’s win to give him exactly 200 for his career and he continues to extend the all-time blocks record at Edgewood College. The senior was also named to the All-Tournament team for his efforts.
