In Edgewood College's season opener, Pope scored a career-high 29 points and broke the school record with seven three-point baskets. The sophomore poured in 16 first half points and added 13 after the break behind 3-for-3 shooting from beyond the arc. Pope shot 56.3 percent from the floor and 77.8 (7-9) percent from three-point range. The Dodgeville native also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out six assists in two contests combined.
