With just 29 seconds remaining in the second overtime of Edgewood College's semifinal match against MSOE, Skaer collected a pass, split two defenders, and punched in a score to avoid a shootout and advance to the NACC Tournament title match. The freshman scored the golden goal on her first shot of the game to help the Eagles earn their second straight trip to the championship game.
