In the 18th minute of Edgewood College's semifinal match against overall No. 1 seed Benedictine University, Stephen Gilbert cashed in his fifth goal of the season which would go down as the eventual game-winner. The senior headed in a cross to put the Eagles up 1-0 and spark a 2-0 upset of Benedictine University which landed Edgewood College in the NACC Tournament Championship match for the first time.
