In a busy week full of 11 games, DeJongh earned five starts and pitched three complete games. The freshman struck out 22 in 31 accumulated innings on the mound, winning two games with an earned run average of 2.48. To start the week, DeJongh pitched 13.2 innings against Wisconsin Lutheran without surrendering an earned run. The Madison native struck out eight in six innings against Concordia Chicago on Sunday, took the loss as the Eagles only combined for two hits.
