In the Eagles first Northern Athletics Conference Tournament game, Fortney grabbed four saves in a 0-0 tie against Concordia University Wisconsin. After 110 minutes of shutout soccer, the game moved into penalty kicks. Fortney made two saves, including the game-winning save to preserve Edgewood College's 4-3 victory in the shootout. In the NAC Tournament Championship, Fortney tallied eight saves.
