Mayer capped the regular season with a pair of stellar starts. He first went seven and one-thirds innings in an 8-7 win at Concordia Chicago before tossing eight shutout innings against Lakeland College. The senior only gave up five hits and struck three batters in the 3-0 win over Lakeland while giving up seven runs, six earned to Concordia Chicago. Mayer went 2-0 on the week and recorded six assists against Lakeland.
