At the University of Chicago Ted Haydon Invitational, Schneider broke his own school record in the javelin throw with a toss of 44.20 meters. That throw was better than his previous record by more than two meters. The senior also helped the Eagle 4x100 meter relay come within one second of a school record with a time of 46.67 seconds. He also posted a 12th place finish with a time of 1:04.84 in the 400 meter hurdles.
