The junior shortstop led the Eagles with a .500 batting average last week and had her seven-game hitting streak snapped in the Eagles' final game in Arizona. Her best game of the week came in a 6-3 win over Dickinson College where she went 4-for-4 with four runs batted in. In eight games last week, she had four multiple hit games, bringing her season total to seven. The next day she went 2-for-3 and drove in both Eagle runs in their 3-2 loss to #15 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges. Spitzer also blasted two home runs and drove in 12 runs, bringing her season totals to five home runs and 19 runs batted in. She leads the NAC in both categories.
