Faurote turned in possibly the best week of his career when it matter most. He led the Eagles to their first conference tournament title since the 2004-05 season. The senior averaged 23.0 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in the conference tournament. He scored 26 points in the Eagles' 64-60 semifinal win a Benedictine and followed that with a 25-point, 13-rebound performance in the 80-72 championship game win over Lakeland. Faurtoe shot a blistering 58.7 percent (27-for-46) for the week and went 11-for-14 at the free throw line.
