Mendoza's first career win will be a memorable one as he clinched the Eagles' first dual match win of the season. With all the other matches finished and dual match tied at four, Mendoza defeated William Scoggins of Martin Luther College 6-1, 7-5 at No. 4 singles to give the Eagles the 5-4 win. Earlier in the day, Mendoza and partner Eric Gavinski won their first career doubles match with an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles agaisnst Martin Luther.
