Mickesh not only set a personal record in the one mile run at the Sol Butler Invitational, but he also won the event. HIs time of 4:33.82 was more than eight seconds faster than the second place finisher, teammate Peter Zander. That time also gave Mickesh a personal-best by five seconds. The junior also set a personal record by 11 seconds in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 9:19.99, placing him ninth.
