Palmer opened the season by reaching double figures in kills in each of her first four matches. In her first match of the season, a 3-2 win over Lewis & Clark College she accounted for 20 kills. She then posted 20 kills in a 3-2 comeback victory over Linfield College. In that match, she tallied seven kills in the fifth set.
