The junior right hander earned half of the Eagles' wins this week as he tossed a pair of complete game victories. First, against Dominican he struck out nine batters while scattering seven hits in nine innings while only allowing one earned run. Nowell followed that up with nine more innings at Marian, allowing only two earned runs on nine hits. For the week he had an ERA of 1.50 and struck out 15 batters while only walking four. He didn't allow and extra base hit all week.
