Boushon only competed in two events at the Washington University Invite, but he set career bests in both events and a school record in one. In the 400 meter hurdles, he finished in 1:06.04 to set a school record, breaking the previous mark by more than three seconds. He then set a personal best in the 400 meter dash with a time of 58.03 seconds.
