Doherty finished second in the Javelin Throw at the Viking Olympics, hosted by Augustana College. The junior posted a mark of 37.58 meters, which currently ranks longest in the NACC, third longest in school history, and 33rd longest in Division III. Doherty also competed in the Discus Throw, finishing 15th with a mark of 33.37 meters.
