Ekkela earned four wins for Edgewood College over spring break in Orlando. The junior went 2-0 versus Western Connecticut, opening the match with a 6-0 win at No. 3 doubles with partner Sarah Emory. Ekkela added a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles to help the Eagles complete the win. Ekkela added a 6-1 win at doubles and a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 5 singles over St. Lawrence.
