Connaughty earned four wins in the Eagles non-conference contests versus UW-Stevens Point and Lawrence. Against the Pointers, Connaughty earned a 7-5 win at No. 2 doubles with partner Hattie Plenty. She followed that up with a 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-8) thriller at No. 4 singles. Against Lawrence, Connaughty added a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles before earning a win at No. 4 singles via opponent retirement.
