In the 60 meter dash preliminary race, the junior broke her previous record by 0.02 seconds with a time of 8.51 seconds. In the finals she shattered that record with her new school record time of 8.42 seconds. She also set an indoor school record in the 200 meter dash when she finished in 28.70 seconds.
